Ryve does not set fares or provide transportation services — riders choose the price they want to offer, and drivers can accept or decline based on their own preference and local regulations.
Ryve works differently from traditional rideshare platforms. Instead of fixed fares or surge pricing, riders choose the amount they want to pay, and drivers keep 100% of what they earn. Ryve simply provides suggested price ranges based on typical market conditions — but the final price is always up to the rider and the driver.
For safety and transparency, drivers using the Ryve platform can enable optional tools such as live ride-tracking and in-car camera feeds (when they have their own compatible camera installed). Riders can choose to share these live feeds with trusted contacts during their trip, giving everyone more visibility and peace of mind.
Ryve provides the technology — not the vehicles or the equipment — allowing riders and drivers to connect with more flexibility, control, and transparency than traditional rideshare services.
Ryve is currently available in NYC, with plans to expand to more cities soon.

None. What you see is what you pay. Comfort is always included, and any fees are shown upfront. We don’t use surge pricing, but if it’s busy, you can choose to offer your driver a higher fare to get picked up faster - always optional, always your choice.

Yes. You can modify or cancel your ride directly in the app. If you cancel within the first 5 minutes, there’s no fee. After that, your driver may request a cancellation fee based on how far they’ve traveled, but some drivers may choose to waive the fee entirely.
ID verification is only needed if you want to pay with cash. It’s quick and easy, protecting both drivers and riders.
Ryve doesn’t take a percentage of any ride.
Instead, drivers pay a small subscription fee — daily, weekly, or monthly — which most drivers can easily cover in just a few rides.
Riders never pay extra to Ryve.
Every dollar you offer goes directly to the independent driver.
